Joseph M. Fetzer, MBA, PCC (PhD ABD) is a proactive organizational leader, Marine Corps Veteran accomplished scholar and advocate for positive change in local and global communities. Joe’s success as an organizational leader is anchored in the values instilled in him while serving in the United States Marine Corps – HONOR, COURAGE and COMMITMENT. During his service of nearly ten years, Joe supported operations to include Operation Enduring Freedom, embassy support operations in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Moscow, Russia and multiple deployments throughout the Asia Pacific Since returning to Western Pennsylvania, Joe has held various leadership positions at world renowned organizations to include – Development Dimensions International (DDI), Catalyst Connection, and Startup Alleghenies. Working as a collaborative leader at those companies provided Joe the opportunity to spearhead organizational development initiatives with other institutions and groups all over the world. With a focus on organizational development, Joe has collaborated with both small and large companies like Merck, Walmart, Bayer, MECCO and Johnson Controls. Those initiatives include, leadership development, embedded consulting, hiring practices, targeted selection, organizational learning and design, employee engagement and retention, and organizational policies and procedures. Now Joe collaborates with organizations as the Principal Consultant and Owner of Innovative Organizational Development – focusing on long-term engagements using tools, theory and applications to connect strategic organizational initiatives with core business drivers.
